STT GDC India launches high-performance data centre in Jaipur
ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC India) on Wednesday launched its new high-performance data centre, STT Jaipur 1, in Rajasthan, to cater to demand for AI applications, cloud, and enterprise digitalisation.
The data centre operator said that STT Jaipur 1 would provide resilient and scalable capacity for enterprises, government institutions, cloud providers and digital-native businesses in and around the region.
STT Jaipur 1 is being developed with an IT design capacity of 6MW, a total power load of 10MVA in a three-storey building with a campus area of 5,971 square metres.
The launch also expands STT GDC India’s national footprint to 10 cities, 34 data centres with 613MW IT Load capacity.
Bimal Khandelwal, CEO, STT GDC India, said, “The launch of STT Jaipur 1 represents a strategic investment in Rajasthan’s digital future and reflects our conviction that the next wave of digital infrastructure growth will extend well beyond India’s Tier 1 cities.”
With STT Jaipur 1, STT GDC India continues to expand its role as a key enabler of India’s digital future, it added.
