Social protection coverage jumps to 64.3%; AI to boost productivity: Mansukh Mandaviya

New Delhi [India], July 14 (ANI): India’s social protection coverage reached an estimated 64.3% of India’s population in 2025, supported by more than 80 million active EPFO members and 150 million people insured under ESIC.

Union Labour and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to boost productivity, innovation, and economic growth.
