LTM to drive Microsoft 365 Copilot deployment for 1.4 lakh L&T employees

L&T said on Wednesday that its IT services arm, LTM, is driving the rollout of Microsoft Copilot 365 for nearly 1.4 lakh employees across the Group organisation.

This comes as conglomerates and IT firms double down on agentic artificial intelligence to enhance productivity, and unlock value at scale.

LTM will spearhead the deployment through solutions built using Microsoft 365 Copilot, including a conversational AI tool — Agent A.S.K., and digital employee companion — RAIma.

L&T said that as the largest adopter of Microsoft 365 Copilot within the Group, LTM’s RAIma tool has already delivered a 70% improvement in query resolution, while increasing employee engagement and HR productivity by 15%.

Additionally, more than 23,000 developers use AI tools daily, supported by a network of over 1,300 AI experts and enablement leads.

“At LTM, we are empowering every employee with intelligent tools to help them work faster, learn continuously, solve complex challenges, and focus on higher value outcomes. With Microsoft, we are moving beyond pilots to embed AI responsibly and at scale across the enterprise,” said Venu Lambu, CEO & MD, LTM.

“This deployment marks a significant shift from early experimentation to scaled, enterprise-wide adoption of AI…we are proud to partner with LTM on this transformation, which reflects how leading organisations in India are moving to an AI-first operating model,” said Puneet Chandok, president, Microsoft India and South Asia.
