India, Japan deepen defence ties with focus on industrial collaboration, cyber security and Indo-Pacific
India and Japan held the eighth Defence Policy Dialogue in Tokyo, where both sides explored ways to strengthen cooperation in defence industrial collaboration, technological innovation, cyber security, space and other emerging strategic domains.
The Indian delegation was led by Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh, while Japan was represented by Vice Minister of Defence for International Affairs Kano Koji. The two sides reviewed the regional and global security environment and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership.
