Homegrown Cellecor Gadgets to invest ₹300-crore in Africa expansion

NEW DELHI: Homegrown electronics and feature phone maker Cellecor Gadgets Limited said it will invest ₹300-crore to boost its African expansion with a new manufacturing facility in Liberia this year.

“Our decision is primarily driven by commercial viability and long-term strategic considerations. Manufacturing in Liberia offers significant tax advantages on imports and exports, resulting in a meaningful improvement in cost competitiveness,” Ravi Agarwal, co-founder and MD, Cellecor Gadgets, told ETElectronicsWorld.
