In-depth: A design-led strategy is critical to India’s semiconductor ambitions

New Delhi: India’s semiconductor ambitions have largely been defined by billion-dollar investments in fab and assembly units. However, industry experts say India’s long-term success will depend on something far less visible but significantly more valuable—chip design and intellectual property (IP).
