Jio Haptik says to make AI accessible to more than 2 million ‘solopreneurs’ in India
Reliance Jio-backed conversational artificial intelligence (AI) company, Jio Haptik, on Tuesday launched the “SOLO” solution for solopreneurs and small businesses to operate with an AI-driven marketing, sales, and customer support team.
The company said in a statement that it aims to make advanced AI capabilities accessible to more than 2 million solopreneurs and small businesses over the next three years.
India is home to more than 65 million micro, small and medium enterprises. Indian entrepreneurs, spanning home bakers and boutique owners to coaches, clinics, salons, and service centers, run their businesses through Instagram and WhatsApp while managing operational aspects.
Jio Haptik said its SOLO solution can automate content creation, customer engagement, lead generation, sales and support, enabling them to focus on business management.
“For years, large businesses have had the advantage of dedicated teams across marketing, sales and customer support, while smaller businesses have had to stretch every resource to keep up. We believe accessible AI and AI Teams can change that equation at scale,” said Ahshad Jussawala, CEO, Jio Haptik.
“With SOLO, we are putting an intelligent growth team in the hands of every entrepreneur – one that works around the clock to help them compete, grow and build with confidence,” the chief executive added.
The company said more than 10,000 businesses have been onboarded during the early access phase, validating strong demand for AI-powered business operations.
The evolution of AI isn’t about building better agents; it’s about building systems that can take ownership of meaningful work. With SOLO, we’ve combined autonomous planning, execution, and continuous learning into an AI business team designed specifically for entrepreneurs,” said Saumil Shah, CTO at Jio Haptik.
SOLO is available on Android and iOS with a free plan and premium plans starting at ₹2,000 per month.
