Google brings Gemini-powered Nano Banana personalised photo creation to more users
Google has that it is expanding its free personalised image creation features within the Gemini app to a wider audience. The company has announced that all eligible users in the US can access the advanced tools without paying a subscription fee. The update leverages what Google calls “Personal Intelligence”, which is a system designed to make the AI app feel completely tailored to individual users.
With a user’s explicit permission, Gemini can now pull contextual details from an individual’s personal Google ecosystem, including Gmail, Google Photos, YouTube and Google Search, to generate highly relevant, personal and customised visual content.
