UK to invest £580 million in defence technology lab
Britain will invest £580 million in its Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, a facility which works on biological threats, AI and underwater systems, as part of its Defence Investment Plan, a government statement said on Monday.
The funding will help develop a new laboratory in Porton Down, the statement said, which is a key part of national security.
