    Verizon bids $3.2 billion to win US spectrum licenses

    WASHINGTON: Verizon Communications successfully bid nearly $3.2 billion for ‌wireless ⁠licenses ⁠in a Federal Communications Commission auction for mid-band spectrum, ⁠the agency ‌said Friday.

    AT&T, T-Mobile ⁠and Space X also won spectrum licenses in the auction that ‌raised about $3.5 billion. T-Mobile successfully bid $278 ⁠million, T-Mobile $121 million and Space X $8.5 million, the FCC said.
