New Delhi: Ten suspects linked with a cross-border syndicate, allegedly involved in smuggling stolen mobile phones to Bangladesh and Nepal, have been arrested, leading to the recovery of 325 high-end handsets worth around ₹1 crore, the Delhi Police said on Saturday.
Police said the operation exposed a structured disposal network that had allegedly been active for nearly a year and is suspected to have trafficked around 10,000 to 12,000 stolen mobile phones through organised channels.
