X recovers after global outage disrupts thousands of users, Downdetector data shows
Social media platform X, formerly Twitter, appeared to be back online after experiencing a widespread outage on Monday (June 22) that temporarily disrupted services for thousands of users across multiple countries, according to outage-tracking data from Downdetector.
The disruption, which began around 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time, triggered a sharp spike in user complaints before gradually easing through the morning.
