‘Hackers’ send fake alert to thousands of phones in Brazil: What the officials said

Thousands of Brazil citizens received fake messages on Saturday (June 20) and the Brazilian government suspects that a cyberattack is responsible for an unauthorised emergency alert sent to cell phones across multiple states.
