Reliance Jio demos AI call assistant, TeleFrame AI OS, next-generation 5G FWA solution
NEW DELHI: As part of its artificial intelligence (AI) strategy, Jio is embedding intelligence directly into the heart of its telecom network rather than confining it to a smartphone application, according to announcements made during Reliance Industries Limited’s (RIL) 49th annual general meeting (AGM) on Friday.
As one of the world’s largest voice carriers handling 20 billion minutes of daily traffic, Jio is making AI accessible to its 500-million-plus customers without requiring any app downloads. By saying “Hey Jio” during a call, users can activate an in-network AI agent that operates in every Indian language with strict user consent.
