Rackspace inks agreement with AMD to deploy 30MW AI compute
NEW DELHI: Rackspace Technology and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) have agreed to deploy 30MW capacity in a phased manner using AMD AI compute solutions to serve regulated verticals.
At full deployment, the dedicated AMD compute across Rackspace’s footprint will serve regulated enterprise workloads, including healthcare providers, who are increasingly seeking accelerated compute for clinical AI and inference at scale.
As per a joint statement, Rackspace will deploy AMD Instinct GPUs, including MI355X, MI350P, and future successor solutions, and AMD EPYC CPUs inside an integrated enterprise AI cloud architecture.
