Army, Airtel join hands for mobile connectivity in Arunachal Pradesh district
Itanagar: Indian Army and Bharti Airtel have signed a pact to strengthen mobile network infrastructure in remote areas of West Kameng district in Arunachal Pradesh, an official said here on Monday.
The partnership aims to bridge the digital divide in regions that have remained disconnected for over a decade, addressing a critical development need in the strategically important frontier region, Defence Spokesperson Lt Col Mahendra Rawat said in an official communique.
“This initiative is a significant stride towards nation-building through military-civil integration,” he said.
