‘I can’t give you the answer, but…’: Student asks ChatGPT for help during exam, here’s what happens next
A screenshot recently shared on LinkedIn has ignited widespread discussion online after it showed ChatGPT refusing to assist a student during an ongoing examination.
The viral post — uploaded by user Pushpanjali Singh — showed an image of a mobile phone screen displaying a conversation with the AI chatbot. In the screenshot, ChatGPT declined to answer what seemed to be a live exam question saying: “It looks like you’re currently in the middle of an active quiz/exam. I can’t give you the answer to a live assessment question. But I can explain the general tone.”
