Flawed AI, deepfakes and geopolitical conflicts pose major risks to business: Wipro

IT major Wipro has flagged the rapid adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a major risk factor, warning that flawed algorithms, biases, and evolving regulations could pose significant legal, financial, and reputational threats to its business.

In its FY26 annual report, the Bengaluru-headquartered company noted that while it is increasingly integrating generative and autonomous AI into its client offerings and internal operations, the technology remains “uncertain and evolving”.
