Shares of California-based semiconductor company Marvell Technology surged more than 20% on June 2 after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang predicted it could become the “next trillion-dollar company.” During a stage appearance in Taiwan alongside Marvell CEO Matthew Murphy, Huang publicly praised the company saying Marvell has enabled greater connectivity across AI systems and that it may be the “next trillion-dollar company”. Soon after Huang’s comments, the tech firm’s shares traded at an increased value of $267.41, up by over 20% the previous day.
