Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang agrees with CEOs of TCS, Salesforce, SAP and others that it is ‘an incredible time to be a software company’

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has echoed the optimism of global software leaders and pushed back against the fears of a looming “SaaSpocalypse,” telling audiences at Computex that the rise of agentic AI is creating unprecedented opportunities for software firms. Huang addressed concerns that AI agents could disrupt traditional SaaS models, saying: “A lot of people have said, ‘Jensen, AI is coming. Agentic AI is coming. Therefore, all of the software companies are going to go out of business.’ I said it’s exactly the opposite.” For those unaware, Agentic AI refers to systems capable of accomplishing tasks with minimal human intervention, Huang believes that agents will rely more on tools than ever, software companies remain indispensable provided they adapt their products to be usable by AI.
