RackBank seeks indigenous electronics manufacturing cluster for data centers
NEW DELHI: A top executive of RackBank said the Centre should support developing a domestic manufacturing cluster for data center electronics components, which may indirectly contribute to affordable artificial intelligence (AI) computing.
“The data center industry will see over $100 billion in investments in another five years in India. Of this, nearly 90% is spent on procuring mechanical and electrical components. So, all data center-related hardware manufacturing units will flourish in the country,” Narendra Sen, founder & CEO of RackBank and NeevCloud, told ETDatacenters in an interview.
