Global DRAM revenue surges 80% sequentially in 1Q26, nears $100 bn milestone: Counterpoint

NEW DELHI: The global dynamic random access memory (DRAM) revenue surged by 80% quarter-on-quarter to a record-high of nearly $100 billion in Q1 2026, driven by unprecedented demand from AI data centers and increasing memory prices, according to Counterpoint Research.

“High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) and growing LPDDR5 content in AI data center infrastructure also played key roles in driving this growth,” the research firm said.
