Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has pushed back against growing concerns that artificial intelligence will destroy jobs, saying the idea is “false,” adding “software engineers are busier than ever”. Speaking during a recent interview at Stanford University, the Nvidia chief said AI is changing the nature of work but not necessarily eliminating the need for workers. Huang argued that AI tools are helping people work faster and at a larger scale, while also creating demand for new ideas and skills. He used examples from healthcare and software engineering to explain why he believes AI will create more jobs over time instead of reducing them.

“First of all, I think the narratives of AI, destroying jobs, is not going to help America,” Huang said. “It’s just, it’s false.”
