Committee recommends BSNL’s Vivek Jaiswal for ECIL Chairman post
NEW DELHI: The Search-cum-Selection Committee (SCSC) has recommended Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) executive, Vivek Jaiswal, for the post of Chairman & Managing Director of the Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL).
Jaiswal is currently a principal general manager (enterprise business) at BSNL.
On May 9, 2026, the SCSC interviewed Magesh Ethirajan, director-general, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), and Rakesh Tumane, director (finance), MOIL Limited, along with the BSNL executive, for the top role at ECIL.
