Prime Video, Amazon MX Player merge to create India’s largest originals streaming platform
Amazon Prime Video will integrate Amazon MX Player into its platform, creating what the company describes as India’s largest streaming destination for exclusive and original content across both free and paid offerings.
The move will combine Prime Video’s premium subscription service with Amazon MX Player’s advertising-led reach, bringing together content across Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD), Advertising Video on Demand (AVOD), Transactional Video on Demand (TVOD), and add-on subscriptions under a single platform.
