Iron Mountain Data Centers inks pact with CleanMax for 32 mn kWh of clean power

NEW DELHI: Iron Mountain on Wednesday signed a long-term partnership with CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions to supply solar and wind energy to the grid for its Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru data centers.

The hybrid project, developed under a group captive model, will supply 32 million kWh of clean power annually for Iron Mountain’s data centers, increasing the renewable energy share of these facilities to up to 75%.

This partnership supports Iron Mountain’s “Green Power Pass”, allowing customers to take direct credit for the green energy procured for their infrastructure, the companies said in a joint statement.
