27th Parliamentary Report on AI

In March 2026, the Standing Committee on Communications and Information Technology of the Eighteenth Lok Sabha tabled its Twenty-Seventh Report, titled “Impact of Emergence of Artificial Intelligence and Related Issues”. Presented to Parliament on March 30, 2026, the report is perhaps the most comprehensive official assessment India has produced of its readiness and its vulnerabilities in the age of artificial intelligence. What it describes is a nation at an inflection point.
