Foxconn is ‘closely cooperating’ with local authorities in infanticide case
Foxconn on Thursday said it has been ‘closely cooperating with local authorities’ in the investigation of a shocking incident that came to light of a 19-year-old worker who allegedly gave birth inside a toilet at the iPhone maker’s Devanahalli unit and then went on to kill her newborn moments later.
After giving birth, she allegedly used a sharp object to harm the newborn and concealed the body inside a bag within the toilet, until it was discovered by another employee who reported the matter.
