Tata Steel expands partnership with Google Cloud to scale up agentic AI adoption
NEW DELHI: Tata Steel on Wednesday said it has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud to scale up autonomous capabilities across its global operations using agentic artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
The companies have already deployed more than 300 specialised AI agents in just nine months, which is driving efficiency and precision in Tata Steel’s operations, according to a joint statement.
“Working with Google Cloud has allowed us to turn AI from a technical experiment into a specialised partner for every employee,” said Jayanta Banerjee, chief information officer (CIO), Tata Steel.
