Scindia unveils revamped Rs 203 crore TDIP scheme to push global telecom standards play

New Delhi: Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Wednesday unveiled revised guidelines for the Technology Development and Investment Promotion (TDIP) Scheme aimed at boosting India’s role in global telecom standard-setting and promoting indigenous technologies.

With an outlay of ₹203 crore for 2026-31, the revamped scheme is designed to help Indian entities contribute to global standards, spur innovation and improve competitiveness in emerging telecom technologies such as 5G Advanced and 6G.
