    Siemens warns EU risks falling behind on AI due to red tape

    Frankfurt: German industrial giant Siemens on Monday warned that the EU was falling behind on artificial intelligence and called on the bloc to speed up its adoption of the technology.

    “If we want to be a leader in AI, especially in industry, we need to make extensive improvements. Otherwise, progress and growth will take place elsewhere — and our dependency will increase,” a company spokesman told AFP.
