Kerala police warn Vivo, iQOO smarphone users of fake update scam that steals bank data
Kerala Police have issued a warning over a cyber fraud targeting Vivo and iQOO smartphone users through fake “OriginOS Update” alerts that install malware and steal sensitive personal and banking data.
According to a police statement, users are being shown pop-up alerts such as “Urgent System Update Required” while using their phones.
