AI drives Canva growth; India second biggest market

Canva’s push to embed artificial intelligence deeper into its design stack is translating into measurable business gains, with the company reporting over 40% revenue growth to $4 billion in annual recurring revenue, even as India has emerged as its second-largest market globally for AI usage, Danny Wu, head of AI at Canva, told Fe.

The Australian design platform last week unveiled Canva AI 2.0, which it described as its most significant product overhaul since inception in 2013. The update introduces a new architecture layer aimed at simplifying design creation through conversational prompts, automated editing and workflow integration.
