Axiro will scale fabless chip business in phases: CG Power chairman

Axiro Semiconductor, a wholly owned subsidiary of CG Power and Industrial Solutions, plans to expand its fabless chip business in a phased manner while focusing first on high-impact areas such as connectivity, satellite communication, industrial and emerging applications.

Axiro’s focus is on building differentiated capabilities across select high-impact areas in connectivity (including wireless infrastructure and satellite communication), industrial and emerging applications, CG Power chairman Vellayan Subbiah told ET. “While we are starting with specific segments, the approach is to scale thoughtfully over time, expanding into adjacent opportunities as capabilities and market access deepen,” he said.
