Suspect in firebomb attack on OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s home arrested, San Francisco police issues statement

San Francisco police have arrested the suspect in a Molotov cocktail-style attack on OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s home last week. The police have charged the suspect, Daniel Moreno-Gama with two counts of attempted murder – one linked to Sam Altman and other linked to a security guard at Altman’s home, says a Forbes report. In its official statement, the SF Police Department said “Through the course of the investigation, officers developed probable cause to place a 20-year-old male under arrest,” adding that “Charges are still pending at this time.”

While an arrest has been made, this remains an open and active investigation, the department stated.
