Credo to buy DustPhotonics for $750 million in cash

Credo Technology Group Holding on Monday agreed to acquire privately held DustPhotonics for $750 million in cash, expanding its push into silicon photonics and high-speed optical ‌connectivity for ⁠AI data ⁠centers.

Credo, which supplies connectivity solutions for cloud and hyperscale computing, will pay the $750 million upfront in cash and about 920,000 Credo shares.

The stock component of the ⁠deal totals $123.6 ‌million, according to Reuters calculations based on Credo’s last ⁠closing price.
