Google’s AI Mode can now book restaurant tables for you in India

Google has started rolling out agentic capabilities in AI Mode for users in India, beginning with restaurant reservation discovery. The feature lets users describe exactly what they’re looking for—party size, date, time, location, preferred cuisine—and AI Mode handles the rest, scanning platforms like Zomato, Swiggy, and EazyDiner in real time to surface available options and link directly to booking pages.

The idea is to collapse what’s normally a multi-app process into a single Search query.
