BSNL surpasses Jio, Airtel as top fixed-line internet operator in FY26: French nPerf

NEW DELHI: State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) surpassed private telecom operators Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel to secure the first rank in the fixed-line internet segment in fiscal year 2026 (FY26), according to French independent network testing firm nPerf.

“BSNL tops India’s fixed-line barometer for 2025–2026 with an overall score of 89,174 nPoints, climbing from second place the previous year as part of a consistent upward trajectory observed across five consecutive years,” nPerf said in its findings released on Thursday.

Airtel and Jio scored 74,975 nPoints and 73,957 nPoints, respectively, in the fixed-line internet segment.
