Omnicom GCC employee count to touch 8,000 post Interpublic deal
Mumbai: Omnicom Global Solutions India, the global capability centre (GCC) of the Omnicom Group, plans to increase its headcount to up to 8,000 this year, even as the New York-based marketing and sales conglomerate integrates operations with the Interpublic Group following their $13.5 billion merger.
The India GCC currently employs around 7,000 people across eight centres— Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore and Mohali. This could grow by 10-15% in 2026, Omnicom Global Solutions India chief executive Vishal Srivastava told ET.
In India, the first phase of integrating the GCC businesses of the two companies has been completed, running parallel to the integration of their media and creative operations in the country.
