IT firm Praruh wins ₹38.98 crore deal from RailTel to modernise optical network with Nokia gear
NEW DELHI: Publicly listed IT and system integration provider Praruh Technologies has won a ₹38.98 crore deal from RailTel to modernise the latter’s metro dense wavelength division multiplexing (MDWDM) network with equipment from Finnish kit vendor Nokia.
Under the project, Praruh will deploy advanced optical networking solutions across 286 locations pan-India.
Praruh said in a statement on Tuesday that it will undertake the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance of the Next Generation (NG) MDWDM system, along with integration into RailTel’s existing Network Operations Centre (NOC) and OSS systems through standard northbound APIs provided by the system controller.
