Firozabad cyber police bust illegal IPTV network; 3 arrested

Firozabad cyber crime police have arrested three individuals from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan for operating an illegal IPTV network that streamed premium television and OTT content, including ongoing IPL matches available on JioHotstar.

The network, identified as “BOS IPTV”, was involved in the unauthorised distribution of copyrighted content across digital platforms. Officials said the action is part of an ongoing crackdown on piracy networks following earlier enforcement against a large-scale illegal IPTV operation.
