Electronics sector sees women outpace men in employability

New Delhi: Female employability rates at 54% have surpassed that of men at 51.5% in the electronics manufacturing sector driven by gross enrolment in factories and pass percentages in apprenticeship programs, staffing firm TeamLease said. This means 54% of women entering the workforce possess the necessary skills to be hired on shop floors, indicating more readiness among women for entry-level shop-floor roles.
