    TP-Link India arm claims US ties, denies China ink

    Network equipment maker TP-Link said its India unit is part of its US entity, which split from its China business in 2024, rejecting claims that it is a Chinese company and thus barred from selling CCTV cameras in India.

    TP-Link India CEO Sanjay Sehgal told ET that the company is part of TP-Link Systems and not China-based TP-Link Technologies. A Singapore-based holding company owns 99.9% of the Indian unit, he said.
