India’s telecom imports from China rise to $6.37 billion in 2023-24: MoS Pemmasani
NEW DELHI: India’s imports of telecom equipment from China rose to $6.37 billion (about ₹59,500 crore) in 2023-24, up from $5.55 billion in 2019-20, Minister of State for Communications Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani informed the Parliament on Wednesday.
Pemmasani, in a written reply to Lok Sabha, said that total imports in the telecom equipment category rose from $13.33 billion in 2019-20 to $17.01 billion in 2023-24.
