Kuku forays into film production with first Hindi theatrical release

Kuku, one of India’s largest digital entertainment companies behind Kuku FM and Kuku TV, is entering theatrical cinema with its first Hindi feature film, Indian Institute of Zombies (IIZ). The campus zombie comedy is slated for a nationwide release on 8 May.

Set within an elite engineering college, the film blends zombie horror, youth comedy and social satire, positioning itself as a genre-first for Indian cinemas. With a focus on a high-energy, community-driven theatrical experience, Kuku is betting on the big screen as its next growth frontier.
