AAP’s Raghav Chadha reignites demand for 30-day tariffs, affordable voice-only incoming plan

NEW DELHI: A Member of Parliament (MP) of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has sought that the telecom operators ensure continuity of essential services – including text messages and voice calls – for prepaid subscribers after expiry of a recharge pack, and synchronise their recharge plans with true calendar month days.

Raghav Chadha, who represents AAP from Punjab in the Rajya Sabha, further suggested that telcos introduce an affordable incoming-only plan for prepaid subscribers who want an active connection to make calls, receive one-time passwords (OTPs), and access government services.
