HFCL bags Rs 10,159 crore global deal to supply optical fibre cables over five years

Homegrown telecom equipment maker HFCL has secured a major international contract worth around Rs 10,159 crore, marking one of the largest deals in the company’s history for the supply of optical fibre cables (OFC).

In a regulatory filing on Friday, the company said it has entered into a five-year supply agreement with a global multinational corporation, with deliveries scheduled between 2026 and December 2030. The contract will be executed through HFCL’s overseas wholly owned subsidiary.
