Ai+ Smartphone, Optiemus unit to jointly invest ₹125 crore in manufacturing, create 1,200 jobs
NEW DELHI: Ai+ Smartphone and Optiemus Electronics (OEL) on Thursday said they have entered into a partnership, under which both companies will cumulatively invest ₹125 crore in manufacturing over the next five years, leading to the creation of about 1,200 jobs.
OEL will, in turn, manufacture 3 million Ai+ Smartphone units under this agreement. Gradually, the manufacturing scope will be expanded to cover tablets, Internet of Things (IoT) products, and wearable devices.
