YouTube hit by major outage, thousands report issues
Major service interruptions hit YouTube on Tuesday, leaving thousands of users unable to access video content on the platform.
According to monitoring service Downdetector, reports of YouTube outages spiked sharply after 9.30 pm, with complaints quickly surpassing 3,800 as the disruption appeared to affect users globally. The majority of reported issues involved video streaming and the mobile application.
