India’s mobile phone exports jump 127 times in last 10 years: Ashwini Vaishnaw

New Delhi: India’s mobile phone exports have surged sharply over the past decade, rising more than 127 times from about ₹0.01 lakh crore in 2014-15 to nearly ₹2 lakh crore in 2024-25, the Parliament was informed on Wednesday.

Replying to a question in the Lok Sabha, Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the sharp growth in exports reflects the success of the government’s push to expand electronics manufacturing under initiatives such as ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
